Thanks for all the well wishes... we had a simple family lunch yesterday. I made an eggless, dairy-free carrot and apple cake fondant cake for JT. This is my 1st time doing fondant, was too ambitous in the beginning, wanted to do all the wordings and a lot of handmade roses with the fondant, but i forgot that fondant is made of sugar which is highly hygroscopic, so in the end, absorbed so much moisture from the air, it became very sticky and difficult to handle. So only managed to do her name, her no. 1 and 6 roses plus some leaves.... her Happy Birthday had to be the boring plastic tag :P Here're 2 of the pics... more pics available on her blog

Philson has his 1st celebration at Merchant Court, Ellenborough Market Cafe. He didnt enjoy it at all...was sulky the whole afternoon and refused to let anyone carry him or take pix with him....tsk tsk tsk....so *dao*. I have also just celebrated Marcus' 1st birthday party at the Spore Swimming Club and would like to share with all of you the wonderful moments that we have enjoyed thru out the party!
The theme of the party is Mickey & Minnie Mouse.

The best part that he enjoyed is the cake cutting ceremony! Cos he gets to taste his own favourite mickey mouse cake!!!

the preparation in the morning was so hectic, but had lots of fun at the party, since i only invited friends and it was a small party, so i could chat with many people.

hi mummies, jus celebrated jav's 1st bday last sat at aranda country club. like calynn, i almost moved my whole hse over to the country club. Stayed there for 3d2n. It was a great party but hub n i were dead tired after the event was over. Guess Jav wasnt really awared tat we were celebrating his bday but he really enjoyed himself during the stay at ACC.

Hi Gan, Thanks for organising the playgroup. Jav had fun at the gym thot he not veri interested paritipated in the group. Keep grabbing my hand to walk around the area. Plus he too sticky to mi. The moment the teacher wanna to carry him to do the activity in some station, he will get yang ow n crying for mi. Sigh.. the older he is, the more sticky n yang ow he gets. He used to b friendly to strangers. Now even if he sees my brother-in-law, he will hold my hand tightly n stare hard @ him. If i leave him alone wif my brother-in-law, he will start crying pitifully. Does ur bbs also the same now?

Jav enjoy the most while we swing him Group participation. Jav oni interest in the black n green stripe cube.

Gan, bloom, Sat theme for MyGym was pirates and on friday i was trying to put a bandana on hannah's head (to try try) to "dress up" as a pirate but she won't let me. Anyway, when we were at the gym, she was so distracted by the activities i finally managed to put the bandana on her head without her pulling it off. heehee! She was the only bb there who dressed up. :P It was really fun though. I even managed to bring hannah there on my own (hb was working). Here she is, a pirate on a police bike...

JT's 1st hair cut outside...cos decided that her hair is very messy and uneven, cut now so tat it will be long and nice during her 1st bday. brought her to juniors league at vivocity... the auntie hairdresser says she's one of the most guai bb, sit still to let her cut.... that's because she got new toy to play!!
also bought her a lantern from NTUC extra at AMK hub... aiyo this lantern cannot make it, seems like it's leaking somewhere... and the music will go dead halfway :P but she still seems to like it

I was inspired by Hannah's Alisan hat, and also Bloom's DIY hat, so I went Daiso to buy sponge and felt to do a no-bumps hat for JT. So the cost price is $4 This is the 1/2 finished pdt, there's another strip across the side. But she sweat like mad after a while, so it's not quite practical in Singapore's weather.

Here's a pic of Hannah in her new wetsuit. We decided to buy it cos it should help keep her a bit warm and provide more protection from the sun even tho we use sunscreen. Sigh, I really prefer the cutie little swim suit she used previously, but I guess this wetsuit is more sensible? Anyway, the wetsuit's kinda cute in its own way and a bit big for her...tho hannah looks more like a boy...but quite pro lidat. Heehee!

here's mandy playing w her fav toy: e tissue box!!! she'd turn n turn e box until she finds e opening n pulls e tissue out, then start tearing e tissue apart, creating a big mess!

hi all, wanna show u a vid. i took o mandy. was trying 2 train her 2 hold e spoon 2 feed herself n oso wanted her 2 feel e food a bit, 4 sensorial play. i tot all bbs like 2 squeeze food w their hands... but ALAS!!! watch e vid.. notice mandy's expression when she touches e food... *grin*
